My Approach

I see therapy as a collaborative experience that is not one-size-fits-all. I work with you to identify your goals for therapy and determine what approach will be most helpful for you. I integrate multiple theories in my work and pull mainly from humanistic, relational, and mindfulness and acceptance based therapies. I am also interested in understanding how your various identities (race, gender, sexuality, nationality, ability, etc) have shaped your experience in the world. My aim is to help clients understand and embrace their authentic selves so they can pursue what they truly value in life.

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
Carl Rogers
